“There are the two most important days of your life: the day you were born and the day you find out what your purpose is. And if we don’t know what our purpose is, it can be very hard to know why we are alive.”

This quote is meaningful to me because before this coaching opportunity I struggled for so long never knowing what I wanted to do with my life. I wasn’t living with a purpose, I wasn’t happy and I felt so lost.

Embarrassed to explain this to the people around me (because it seemed like everyone was constantly asking “what are you doing with your life?”) so I pretended like it wasn’t happening and went through the motions of life, numb and in zombie mode.

I vividly remember waking up one day to an obnoxiously loud beeping alarm for work at 6am asking myself, “Is THIS all there is to life? A monotonous routine?!” I felt like I did the same thing over and over but I wanted a new result… Something HAD to change otherwise that’s insanity right?!

I didn’t have a career path or kids and everyone around me seemed to know where they were going. I became jealous and victimized by my own life. AH. I felt like I failed before my life even got started.

For my situation to change, I had to change for it!

It was in that moment that I decided to search for MORE. DO MORE. BE MORE. I stumbled upon this community…

Genuinely happy people that had a passion for helping other people find their happiness!? I fell in love… July 2014 was the date I began living my life ON PURPOSE, doing things that brought me joy, fulfillment and dedicating myself to paying this opportunity forward to you.

 

This means you don’t HAVE TO settle for “good” – why not be “GREAT” or “AMAZING” the next time someone asks you how you’re doing? You have a choice! Believe me I was there, I thought I had no choice in how my life played out – I thought it was just the cards I was dealt and that’s that. FALSE.
