The main ingredient in this recipe is turmeric. Turmeric contains curcumin which has over 600 potential health benefits, which include antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties.

Side note: 👉🏽if you add black pepper🌶 to turmeric or turmeric-spiced food, it enhances curcumin’s by 1,000 times (due to black pepper’s hot property called piperine). So by mixing turmeric and black pepper together, you increase your body’s absorption of the turmeric by 2000%! 💃🏼💃🏼
>1 & 1/2 C nut milk
>1/2 tsp vanilla extract
>1/2 T coconut oil
>1 tsp turmeric powder
>1/2 tsp cinnamon
>1/2 tsp ginger powder
>1/4 tsp black pepper
–boil and whisk until “frothy” 👏🏽I found that it had a sweet spicy taste. I’d probably add more cinnamon next time around and a little less ginger. I’m always down to try new healthy natural remedies for colds/sickness. If you have any suggestions that’d be super helpful.
